DGP sanctions scholarship of Rs.19.62 lakh for wards of serving Police personnel

J&K DGP sanctions scholarships worth 19.62 lakh for 290 wards of serving police personnel. The scholarships are awarded to meritorious students who secured 80% and above marks in graduation/post-graduation exams. The scholarships range from Rs 6,000 to Rs 18,000 depending on the marks obtained. A total of 259 wards received scholarships for scoring above 80% marks in the 12th class exams, with additional rewards for those who scored above 90%.
