Patna schools to remain closed till June 28 amid severe heatwave

The District Magistrate of Patna, Dr. Chandra Shekhar Singh, has extended the closure of all private and government schools in the city up to class 12 until June 28 due to the severe heatwave conditions. This is the third time that the school closure in the city has been extended due to the high temperature and humidity affecting the health and life of the children. The India Meteorological Department has declared a severe heatwave in 35 districts of Bihar, with the maximum temperature already reaching 45°C in several districts.
