Supreme Court to hear plea challenging Classes 5, 8 board exams in Karnataka today

The Supreme Court of India will consider a case on 27 March that challenges the rights of schools under the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board to hold Class 5 and 8 board exams, according to sources. The petition has been submitted by unaided private schools against a decision passed by the Karnataka High Court on 15 March.
